#1 Best Selling Wine. Brown-Forman selected Tommy Dew to redesign
the SCV website, creating a refined online identity suited
for a world-class vintner.
On the home page, Flash animation featuring graceful typography
and layered duotone images flows over a richly colored letterbox
photo. Three main sections – The Wines, The Vineyards and The
Story – open with a photo and type collage, setting
the theme for each area of interest. Simple Flash animation is
featured on inside pages as well, starting with a view of a full
color scene that pulls back and fades into a duotone image.
Working from existing print materials and wine notes, Tommy
Dew wrote the copy for The Vineyards and The Story sections,
maintaining a consistent tone.
