



The Art of the Architect website
is the online component of an exhibit that premiered at the High
Museum of Art in June 2001. To ensure accuracy and continuity
with the physical exhibit, Tommy Dew maintained frequent communication
with the exhibition curator.
As a marketing and communication tool, the website was designed
to publicize the exhibit, enhance visitors' experiences, and
create global awareness of the importance of hand-drawn artwork
in the creative process of architectural design. Tommy Dew Design
conceived, produced, and implemented the entire website project
in-house, from conceptual design through final completion. Additionally,
we designed and developed a complete publicity package with CD-ROM
that was distributed to national press contacts.
The website received international attention, with online coverage
on CNN Italia and Architettura, as well as extensive
national coverage in the Atlanta Journal Constitution and East
Bay Business Times. In addition to receiving several design
awards, the site is published in Graphis'
Interactive Design 2 Book as a winner of the 2002 International
Competition.
